Building Project UPDATE
March 2023
Renovations are in full swing, as you may have seen, and the new design for your new building is shaping up! We anticipate that our lobby, offices, and teller station downstairs will be under significant construction through the end of April. We know the impact that this is having and will continue to have on our lobby so we anticipate occasional slight changes to our everyday operations. The changes should be minimal as we plan to keep all of our services open throughout the remainder of the renovation and the drive-thru will remain fully operational. Work will continue around the first floor and move to the teller station. We understand that some lobby access surrounding teller services could be limited for a very short time. In the event that we need to close the lobby on occasion for safety concerns, we will still keep all lobby services open. This would resemble any closure we experienced during covid where our services remain fully operational on a curbside basis. We do not anticipate these closures to be extended for more than one or two days at a time and we will keep you informed of those if/when the need arises. If you do not hear from us, please assume that we are operating normally. Again, we emphasize that each staff member will be available as usual for any of your full-service financial needs and our services are still available to you through all our remote options throughout the duration of the remodel. Feel free to call or text in any requests or questions at any time and we will be happy to accommodate you. We appreciate your patience during this messy time and can’t wait to reveal our brand-new look! We are anticipating the completion of the renovation to be within this second quarter and we are excited to show you the final result!

Building Project UPDATE!
Renovations are underway! As you can see, work has already started on our exterior and upstairs areas. They’ve built the framework for the elevator and have made huge progress for the additional office spaces upstairs. As they complete these areas, work will begin on the first floor and we anticipate this happening now, in January. Work up to this point has had a minimal impact on our lobby services, but we know as the work begins in our lobby that slight changes will need to be made to our everyday operations. We anticipate that our entire downstairs area will be under construction from January through March. Throughout the duration of this remodel, the drive-thru services will remain fully operational. The plan is to section off the lobby and work gradually around the room to cause the least amount of disruption. As they begin on the office space side of the building, we may need to temporarily place the loan department in a different part of the building, but our services should be fully operational for this side of the project. The teller line reconstruction will be the last section remodeled. We know there will be inevitable disruptions, but we will keep you informed as they arise. Again, our intent is to remain fully operational for the duration of the renovation. However, if for safety measures, the lobby should close, all services will still be available to our members through our drive thru and remote options. Each staff member will be available as usual for any of your full-service financial needs during that time. We appreciate your patience during this messy time and can’t wait to reveal our brand new look! It’s getting so close!

Our Building Project is Underway!
We are thrilled to inform you that our building renovations are officially underway! We finalized the plans and construction began September 12th. We know things are about to get a bit messy so we wanted to keep you informed on what is happening here at your credit union. Our contractors expect the full remodel to be complete by the end of this year or early next, but are allowing time for issues that may arise. Work on an additional parking lot is up first and this will be placed to the east of the building. Once complete, attention will be directed to the west side of our building where we will add an elevator which will allow for additional office space upstairs. We hope to add the elevator with the sacrifice of only two or three west side parking spots. After the elevator is in place we’ll start on the upstairs, hopefully by mid-October. For the first few months, construction will be limited to the second floor with work to the board room and adjacent room. This phase will cause NO disruption to our lobby and our teller services. There are also cones in place to allow for cars to continue to pass seamlessly through to the drive-thru and ATM.
After the upstairs is complete, renovation will begin on the ground floor. We anticipate construction to begin late November. The ground floor renovations will include the addition of two new offices and a brand-new, updated lobby and teller area. Our intent is to remain fully operational for the duration of the renovation. However, if for safety measures, the lobby should close, all services will still be available to our members through our drive thru and remote options. Each staff member will be available as usual for any of your full-service financial needs during that time. We will keep you up to date, every step of the way.
We are so excited to bring these changes to you as we continue to expand our services to fit your present financial needs. Again, we want to emphasize that the credit union drive thru will remain open for the entirety of the remodel and we hope to keep the lobby open as well. We are a local credit union formed right here by members of Daviess County and we continue to strive to create the best banking experience for YOU, our local community. We have exciting news about your growing credit union! We are getting a MAKEOVER!
We are thrilled to inform you that we are under contract for a full internal renovation and remodel! As your credit union continues to experience growth and recognition within the school district and community, we have found that we need to be able to accommodate this growth internally.
Our current plans will allow us to make better use of the size and space in our building to accommodate additional job requirements and staffing needs that have risen as a result of our growth and the implementation of our technological and card related services. The remodel will focus on our main lobby and teller area as it is being reconstructed to create a more updated, modern and impressionable feel to match our brand. New office spaces will also be added for the benefit of our loan department and to be able to offer more private office space for account, card and technology related needs that may arise. Construction should begin this summer and will be ongoing through fall. Additional parking will also be added and available for busier days and we will also be adding an elevator to allow growth to eventually continue upstairs as the need arises. We plan to stay fully operational and open for all of your credit union needs throughout the duration of the remodel so don’t let the mess deter you from reaching out or stopping by. We know things can change in an instant so feel free to reach out with any questions and we plan to keep you as informed as possible as plans are finalized.
